WHAT
SOU is the International School of Architecture for Children, aged 7 to 12, the first in Italy, the second in the world.
Innovative workshop project specialising in activities related to architecture, landscape, environment, engineering, urban planning, design, art, technology, sustainability, and building creative, conscious and responsible communities.
The School stimulates creativity, planning and action; it educates in the values of welcome, participation, tolerance, solidarity, inclusion, of social commitment to be proactive and decisive for an improvement of society, public space, the city and the territory; to respect and protect common goods, the historical heritage and open spaces.

WHY
The workshops are structured with a didactic methodology based on learning by doing and with a playful and interactive approach; they foster knowledge through action, direct involvement and the development of skills and attitudes, making learners protagonists of their own learning process and promoters of initiatives for the city through didactic outings on the city and provincial territory; public events such as exhibitions of the works produced.

Director
Marco Rosati_ Architetto, abilitato anche alla professione di Ingegnere; dottorando in “Paesaggio e Ambiente”, Dipartimento di Architettura e Progetto, presso l’Università Sapienza di Roma; si laurea con lode con una tesi in Progettazione Architettonica e Urbana, consegue con lode il Master di II livello P.A.R.E.S. “Progettazione Architettonica per il Recupero dell’Edilizia storica e degli Spazi pubblici”. Svolge un tirocinio al Mibact presso la Soprintendenza “Archeologia, Belle arti e Paesaggio” per Roma e Rieti. Attento e vocato all’educazione dei bambini, insegna in Istituti scolastici statali. Al contempo svolge la professione collaborando in studi di Progettazione Architettonica e Urbana. Partecipa a concorsi di idee e di progettazione nazionali e internazionali ricevendo premi e menzioni.
